i get the idea of ANZAC day,
but why do we all have permission to be lazy and not attend work?
Oh but the kids still have to attend to school, so they can learn about ANZAC day
(the day we dont go to work because we are using it as a day to slack)
If you need an excuse to have a day off why not create a day called "workers day",
and who ever wants a day off is entitled to do so no questions asked.
To me it just seems unfair in 2 ways
1.If i was fighting with the ANZAC's id be pretty annoyed that people were just taking a day to be lazy. Id be like dude I know I died but i didn't die so you could stop serving your people today, get back to work, and
2. because its ANZAC day, your problems mean nothing, you need something urgently that cant be bought at a petrol station, TOO BAD you ran out of toilet paper today, ... wipe your ass with your hand and stop being selfish... but yet don't forget to be selfish and make ANZAC day about us.... centre the entire day ON US the people that didn't fight the people that don't actually care but just pretend to care because if we didn't it would be rude.
MANY will rise early to commemorate Anzac Day by attending a dawn service
and some wont!
so, what about the (some) couldn't they be working today?, i guarantee you, as much as you wish everyone in Australia was crying today and making there prayers and or respects/regards to the dead.. there are just as many who could not care less.
for these people, the people who need things today suffer, because instead of those people working they are taking a day to probably get high, or just sleep all day or sit in a couch and stuff there face, they most definitely aren't taking a moment of silence, nope not at all,
Its not there fault either, because the logic there is that they don't know these people, when our loved ones die, do they get a day of remembrance, some people die and no one cares, so why should anyone be forced to take moments of silence for strangers when no one takes moments of silence for their loved ones.
I guess we could do what we usually do and keep businesses open but let the minorities work for us that day, and or who ever needs the cash can work, I mean honestly when you think about it why don't we do this!, if we aren't going to go to work on ANZAC day, then at least let the people who want to work WORK ON ANZAC DAY!,
So that why we are "lest we forgetting", we can at least still buy the things we need,
Especially cause the busy people who always work, may not even have time to shop, so the one day they get off they cant buy what they need because everyone has been ordered to be lazy in hopes that they will care but who actually aren't caring at all,
and we are spiralling
can you not see how silly this all is when you actually think about it...
but all in all yes it happened we care or we don't care, but don't let anymore people suffer, because they suffered, its not fair
All Im saying is Think about it, some places are open today, some people are still working hard, and I'm sure there are more with those same opinions who would love to serve people today in shopping centres so that they don't have to suffer, for their mistakes, or busy life styles, that cause them to need things today on ANZAC DAY!
